ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder

The ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder provides a MIDI encoder capable of sending MIDI messages from discrete inputs. Connect the ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder either to discrete switches to create 24 programmable messages or to a switch matrix capable of generating all 128 MIDI notes. The ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder can be programmed to produce any of the 128 MIDI notes or controller messages with an easy to use Windows software utility.

If you need just a few more discrete inputs than 24 and you don't want to bother building a switch matrix, we advise you use two ittyMIDI Discrete Encoders and a hardware MIDI merge device like those available from M-Audio or Phil Reese.

Incorporate the ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder into an animatronics device or amusement ride with a switch activated MIDI command. Or use it to provide that special touch to a sound set or stage. The ittyMIDI Discrete Encoder is great for do-it-yourself MIDI projects and creating experimental instruments.
