Detroit 2001
After a trying musical performance at the
Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) with a laptop as an aide,
I vowed never to use one again. I wanted something fast, portable
and convenient without investing in an entirely new product.
I already owned a Palm Pilot, but no one was
making easy to use MIDI file players for the Palm platform. Months
later, I was searching the web to see if someone had come out with
anything yet.
My prayers were answered when I found the
ittyMIDI web page.
Finally, I could use my portable Palm Pilot with
a great piece of software. The thing that is even better than
having this ultra portable MIDI file player is its ease of use.
The software for converting the MIDI files to the Palm platform is
very easy to use. The actual ittyMIDI Player is also extremely
user friendly.
I have used ittyMIDI twice this past April for
two different live performances. It worked without a problem and I
know that I will continue to use it.

I like the way it sounds. It is kind of easy to
use. It helped me to pick up (playing the piano) where I made
mistakes. If you really want to be good you should use it. It
helped me so it should help you.

The best feature of ittyMIDI Player is the
ability to change the tempo. When I am practicing, I am able to
choose the measure that gives me the most trouble. This way I
can focus on that part. ittyMIDI Player also helps me learn to
play with other instruments. This made me more confident and
play better.
